Our Management Team
ALPHA is led by second generation owner, Don Swindell for over 20 years. Our home care program operations and quality assurance is managed by our experienced and professional designation Administrator. Our experienced Scheduling Supervisor manages the scheduling department and our Nursing Field Supervisor visits every client prior to service and finalizes the Care Plan that guides our care aides.

The public health care system can be difficult to navigate for subsidized home care services. Use our knowledge and experience by providing information about the Vancouver Island Health Authority’s subsidized home care program to see if this could provide assistance to you and your family.
To give you the best care possible, our staff is both compassionate and dependable. We screen and interview all caregivers; selection is based on education, experience, skill, reliability and most importantly their caring nature. All caregivers are bonded, insured, free of communicable disease and have a current clear criminal records check. Our caregivers are supported by experienced and friendly scheduling and nursing staff. We truly believe our people make the difference!
*Registered care Aides: provide personal care and monitored nursing tasks. RCA’s are registered with the BC Care Aide Registry and receive a unique identifying number. Registration confirms for the employer that the RCA has completed a recognized certificate or diploma program with current competencies for personal care and mobility tasks ensuring a high standard of quality care and safety for our clients.
*Home Support Workers: provide general home support tasks such as nutrition assistance, laundry, light housekeeping tasks and companion care.
